Model not available error

Hi
I am not sure if this is the right forum but I spend last two hours trying to find why Google Gemini AIs are not working. I was getting model not found error.

404 Publisher Model `projects/mongodb-hackathon-460901/locations/us-central1/publishers/google/models/gemini-pro` was not found or your project does not have access to it. Please ensure you are using a valid model version. For more information, see: https://cloud.google.com/vertex-ai/generative-ai/docs/learn/model-versions

I tried everything but was not happening

Is it me? or does Google always do this

    check the location is set correctly ? default to global if you are not sure. also check retirement dates of models.
    try with gemini-2.0-flash-001
