MongoDB Challenge – Clarification on the ‘Select Any Public Dataset’ Rule
Hello. For the MongoDB challenge, the rules state “Select any public dataset.”
Is it allowed to build our own dataset from public data?
If so, do we need to disclose the source of the data (potentially keep a log if the data is collected automatically)?
Thank you and have a great day.

Yes, we have no problem with a subset of a public dataset being used - go ahead!

Can you clarify what "public dataset" means? Structured or unstructured? Any source of public information counts as public a dataset? (e.g. a set of unstructured data in a certain domain)

Yes, any data that is available to the general public can be used.
